Is there a desktop app for the JSON Formatter, Regex Tester or SQL tools?
Yes — as an installable web app (PWA), not an app-store download. Every tool on this page can be installed on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS from Chrome or Edge, or on a Mac from Safari 17+. Pick the tool above and click Install app — it opens in its own window with its own icon.
Are there developer tools apps for Android and iPhone?
Yes, as installable web apps. On Android install from Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet or Firefox; on iPhone and iPad use Share → Add to Home Screen in Safari. Each tool gets its own home-screen icon and opens full screen.
Do I need an app store or an account?
No. The web apps install straight from your browser, are free, and need no sign-up. They update themselves the next time you are online.
Are these native apps?
No. They are progressive web apps (PWAs): they run in your browser’s engine, get their own window and icon, and work offline, but they only have the permissions a website has — no app-store install, background services or system access.
Which tools need an internet connection?
Tools that check live websites — SEO audit, DNS, SSL, redirect and header checkers — need a connection. Everything marked “Works offline” runs on your device.
