Cómo usar: Who Is Hosting This Site

  1. Enter a domain name such as example.com.
  2. Click Find host. The tool resolves its IP addresses, nameservers and mail servers.
  3. It looks up who owns each IP address (the network’s ASN) and reads the server’s response headers for platform hints.
  4. Read the web host, CDN, DNS provider and email provider, with the raw records below.

How hosting is detected

A website’s domain points to one or more IP addresses. Every IP belongs to a network with an ASN (autonomous system number) owned by a company — Amazon, Google, Hetzner, DigitalOcean and so on. That owner is usually the host. Many sites also send platform headers (Vercel, Netlify, Shopify, WP Engine, Kinsta, Webflow …) that name the real platform even when the IP belongs to a cloud provider.

Sites behind a CDN

When a site uses Cloudflare, Fastly or Akamai, its IP addresses belong to the CDN, not the server behind it. That hides the origin on purpose — it protects the server from attacks. In that case the tool tells you the CDN and any platform header it found, but the origin host can’t be seen from outside.

What else you get

  • DNS provider from the nameservers (Cloudflare, Route 53, GoDaddy, Namecheap …).
  • Email provider from the MX records (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho …).
  • IP range and country of the network, from the regional internet registry.

Preguntas frecuentes

How can I find out who hosts a website?
Enter the domain. The tool finds the company that owns the site’s IP address, reads platform headers, and names the host — for example Amazon Web Services, Vercel or SiteGround.
Why does it say Cloudflare instead of the real host?
Sites behind Cloudflare (or another CDN) expose only the CDN’s IP addresses. The origin server is hidden on purpose; unless the site sends a platform header, it can’t be identified from outside.
Can I find a website’s email provider?
Yes. The MX records show where a domain receives email; the tool names common providers such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
Is the hosting company the same as the domain registrar?
Not necessarily. The registrar is where the domain is registered (see WHOIS); the host runs the server. Many people use different companies for each.
