  1. Type an address, a business name or coordinates.
  2. Set the zoom (15 for a street, 11 for a city), the map type and the language of the labels.
  3. Choose the height and corner radius; keep lazy loading on so the map doesn’t slow down the page.

No API key needed


The embed uses Google Maps’ public embed URL with your search, zoom, map type and language, so it works without a Google Cloud account or billing. For custom styling, several markers or the JavaScript API you do need a key — but for a “find us” map this is all you need.


Links that open the Maps app


The directions and search links use Google’s official Maps URLs (google.com/maps/dir/?api=1 and /search/?api=1). On phones they open the Google Maps app; on desktop, Maps in the browser.
