A Markdown editor that runs in your browser

This editor gives you a plain-text writing pane next to a rendered preview, so you can write README files, documentation, blog posts, notes and GitHub issues without installing anything. It understands GitHub-flavored Markdown — tables, task lists, strikethrough and fenced code — and keeps your draft in this browser’s local storage so a refresh doesn’t lose your work.

Questions fréquentes

Where is my document saved?
In your own browser’s local storage, every few seconds while you type. Nothing is uploaded. Clearing site data or using a private window removes it, so download a .md copy of anything important.
Does it support GitHub-flavored Markdown?
Yes — tables, task lists, strikethrough, autolinks and fenced code blocks, matching what GitHub renders in README files and issues.
How do I save as PDF?
Click PDF. A print view of the rendered document opens; pick “Save as PDF” as the printer.
Is HTML inside Markdown allowed?
Yes. Safe inline HTML such as <details>, <kbd> or renders; scripts and event handlers are stripped from the preview and exports with DOMPurify.
Comment fonctionne l’installation.
