Paste SVG & HTML into Webflow — Free devpack Browser Extension
Copy SVG, HTML or part of any web page, press Ctrl+V (⌘+V on a Mac) in the Webflow Designer, and it lands as native Webflow elements. Free, no account, and everything runs on your device.
Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi and Arc install it from the Chrome Web Store.
How to use it
- Add the extension to your browser.
- Copy an SVG, HTML code or part of a web page.
- In the Webflow Designer, select where it should go and press Ctrl+V (⌘+V on a Mac).
Pastes into text fields and code editors, real Webflow elements and plain text are left alone, so normal copy and paste keeps working.
Component library
Copy elements in the Designer and click Save to devpack, or press Alt+Shift+L to open the library. Pick a component, fill in its text, links, images and icons, and click Paste into Designer. You choose which parts are editable in the Webflow Component Editor, and both show the same library.
Settings
- Turn it on or off.
- Choose what to convert: SVG, HTML code, web page content.
- For SVG: native elements or a Code Embed, class name, size and currentColor.
- Calibrate: paste a copied Custom Element into the settings so the extension learns Webflow’s current format.
Browsers
| Browser | Install from |
|---|---|
| Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Arc | Chrome Web Store |
| Firefox | Firefox Add-ons (press Ctrl/⌘+V twice: the first paste puts the converted elements on your clipboard) |
No install needed
The same converters run on devpack.app: SVG to Webflow, HTML & CSS to Webflow and the Webflow Clipboard Bridge. Convert, click Copy and paste in the Designer. See all Webflow tools.
Privacy
The extension runs only on Webflow Designer pages and devpack.app. It reads the clipboard of a paste in the Designer to check for SVG or HTML, converts it on your device, and never sends your clipboard, designs or browsing activity anywhere. Details are in the privacy policy.
Questions
Is the extension free? Yes. It is free, needs no account and has no limits.
Why do I have to paste twice in Firefox? Firefox does not let extensions hand converted content straight to a page. The first Ctrl+V puts the converted Webflow elements on your clipboard; the second pastes them.
Can I use it without installing anything? Yes: use the SVG to Webflow or HTML & CSS to Webflow tool, click Copy, then paste in the Designer.
