How to use the Flashcards
- Create a deck, then add cards one by one or paste a whole list.
- In Study, click the card or press Space to flip it.
- Choose Again (1) or Got it (2).
- Come back when cards are due. The ones you know wait longer each time.
How spaced repetition works
You forget things at a predictable rate, and reviewing just before you forget strengthens memory the most. Each card sits in one of five boxes. Get it right and it moves up, waiting 1, 3, 7, 14 and then 30 days. Miss it and it returns to the start. Your time goes to the cards you find hard.
Writing good cards
- One fact per card. Split long answers.
- Ask a question. Testing yourself works better than rereading.
- Use your own words. You’ll remember them better.
Keep study sessions focused with the Pomodoro Timer.
