How to use the XML to Excel Converter
- Paste the XML or drop the file.
- Check the record element and the table preview.
- Click Download .xlsx (or copy the CSV).
From XML to rows and columns
XML stores records as repeating elements — <product>, <order>, <item>. The converter finds the element that repeats most, turns each one into a row, and turns child elements and attributes into columns (price, price.@currency). Elements that repeat inside a record are numbered so the columns line up across rows.
The result downloads as a real .xlsx file with a bold, frozen header — no import wizard needed. Prefer a text file? The same table is shown as CSV.
