How to use the CSV to Excel
- Paste the CSV or click Open file.
- Check the preview — the delimiter (comma, semicolon or tab) is detected automatically.
- Set the file and sheet name and click Download .xlsx.
Why convert CSV to Excel instead of just opening it?
Double-clicking a CSV lets Excel guess: in many European locales it expects semicolons, accented characters can turn into garbage without a UTF-8 BOM, ZIP codes like 02134 lose their leading zero, and long numbers become scientific notation. Converting to .xlsx first fixes the types once, so the file opens the same way on every computer.
The converter reads the CSV in your browser, keeps text as text and numbers as numbers, and writes a workbook with a bold, frozen header row. The tab-separated output can also be pasted straight into Excel or Google Sheets.
