How to use the Country Dropdown HTML
- The page starts with Countries selected; choose the label (name, flag + name, or name with code) and the value (ISO code or name).
- Pin your most common countries with Show first, for example
US, GB, CA. - Group by continent with
<optgroup>, or pick a label language for a translated list. - Copy the HTML, React, Vue or JSON.
A country list that stays correct
The list follows ISO 3166-1 — the standard used by payment providers, shipping APIs and browsers — and names are produced by your browser’s internationalization support, so they are spelled correctly in every language. Use the two-letter code (US, DE, JP) as the value: it is what Stripe, address APIs and databases expect. Flags are emoji built from the code, so they need no images; Windows shows them as letter pairs.
