How to use the Rotate PDF
- Drop a PDF on the box or click to choose it.
- Click pages to rotate them, or use Rotate all.
- Click Save rotated PDF.
Permanent rotation, not just a viewer setting
Rotating a page in a PDF viewer usually lasts only until you close the file. This tool writes the new rotation into the PDF itself (the page’s /Rotate entry), so the pages open the right way up in every reader, browser, printer and on phones.
Lossless
Rotation only changes how the page is displayed — content is not re-rendered or recompressed, so text stays selectable and the file size stays the same.
Common situations
- Scanned documents where some pages were fed in sideways or upside down.
- Landscape tables and charts in an otherwise portrait report.
- Phone “scans” saved with the wrong orientation.
Need to reorder or remove pages as well? Use Organize PDF. For images, try the image converter.
Private by design
Most online PDF services upload your document to their servers. This tool processes the file entirely in your browser with open-source libraries (pdf-lib and PDF.js), so contracts, invoices, bank statements and IDs never leave your device. It works offline once the page has loaded, and there are no file-count limits, watermarks or sign-ups.
Tools that pair well with the Rotate PDF
- Split PDF — Pull specific pages out of a PDF, or break it into single pages or equal chunks.
- Merge PDF — Combine several PDF files into one document.
- PDF to JPG — Turn every page of a PDF into a high-quality JPG or PNG image — for slides, social posts, thumbnails or apps that do not accept PDF.
- Add Page Numbers to PDF — Number the pages of any PDF in seconds — bottom or top, left, centre or right, with formats like Page 3 of 12 and an optional unnumbered cover page.
