How to use the PNG to PDF

  1. Drop your PNG files (JPG and WebP work too).
  2. Drag them into order and choose page size and margins.
  3. Create and download the PDF.

What happens to transparency?

PDF pages are white, so transparent parts of a PNG appear white in the PDF. Screenshots and graphics keep their sharp edges because PNG is lossless.

Keep the PDF small

Large screenshots make large PDFs. Shrink them first with the Image Compressor, or compress the finished file with Compress PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Can I combine several PNGs into one PDF?
Yes. Drop them all, drag them into order, and they become pages of one PDF.
Is the quality reduced?
No. PNG images are placed as they are.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The PDF is built in your browser.
Can I install PNG to PDF as a web app and use it offline?
Yes. PNG to PDF is an installable web app (PWA) — installed from your browser, not downloaded from an app store. Click Install app at the top of this page in Chrome or Edge (Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS) or on Android, use Share → Add to Home Screen on iPhone and iPad, or File → Add to Dock in Safari 17+ on a Mac. It then opens in its own window with its own icon, and because it runs entirely in your browser it keeps working offline. Firefox on desktop can’t install web apps. How installing works.
