How to use the Scientific Calculator
- Click the buttons or type an expression, like
2^10 + sqrt(16). - Press = or Enter to calculate.
- Switch between degrees and radians for trigonometry.
- Click any line in the history to reuse it; Ans inserts the last result.
What it can calculate
- Arithmetic with the usual order of operations:
2 + 3 × 4 = 14. - Powers and roots:
2^10,x²,sqrt(2). - Trigonometry in degrees or radians:
sin(30) = 0.5in degrees, and the inverse functions. - Logarithms:
ln(base e) andlog(base 10). - Factorials (
5! = 120), percentages (50%= 0.5), π and e.
Implicit multiplication works too — 2π or 3(4+1). Results are rounded to 12 significant digits to hide floating-point noise like 0.1 + 0.2.
