How to use the Flip Image

  1. Drop your images — horizontal flip is already on.
  2. Press ⇵ Vertical too if you need it, or rotate.
  3. Download the flipped image, or all of them as a ZIP.

Why selfies look reversed

Front cameras show a mirrored preview, so text and logos in a selfie can end up backwards. A horizontal flip puts them the right way round.

Need to turn a photo instead? Use the rotate buttons on the same page.

Tools that pair well with the Flip Image

  • Rotate & Flip Image — Rotate photos by 90° or by any angle to straighten a horizon, and mirror them horizontally or vertically.

  • Image Resizer — Resize a photo to exact pixel dimensions or a percentage, crop it to fill a social-media size, or fit it inside a frame with a background color — all locally in your browser.
  • Black and White Image — Turn photos black and white in one click — classic grayscale, warm sepia, pure black and white or a two-color duotone — and fine-tune brightness and contrast.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between flip and rotate?
Flipping mirrors the image like a reflection; rotating turns it around its center.
Can I flip several images at once?
Yes. Drop them all and download them together as a ZIP.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Flipping happens in your browser.
Can I install Flip Image as a web app and use it offline?
Yes. Flip Image is an installable web app (PWA) — installed from your browser, not downloaded from an app store. Click Install app at the top of this page in Chrome or Edge (Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS) or on Android, use Share → Add to Home Screen on iPhone and iPad, or File → Add to Dock in Safari 17+ on a Mac. It then opens in its own window with its own icon, and because it runs entirely in your browser it keeps working offline. Firefox on desktop can’t install web apps. How installing works.
