How to use the Facebook Cover Photo Resizer
- Drop your image — 1640 × 624 and Crop to fill are already set.
- Position the picture so the important part sits in the middle.
- Download the JPG and upload it as your cover photo.
How Facebook shows a cover
Facebook displays covers at about 820 × 312 px on computers and crops them to about 640 × 360 px on phones, cutting the sides. Uploading at 1640 × 624 keeps the photo sharp; keeping text and faces in the center keeps them visible on both.
Avoid blurry covers
Facebook recompresses uploads. A JPG with high quality (85–90) usually survives best; for text-heavy graphics a PNG can look cleaner.
